Hi everyone!! So... for AFA 2011...!!
yes, i've caught on to the MIKU fever! But i decided to cosplay the sandplay version because i fell in love with costume! it's so pretty!
I was lucky though because my fren, Man jie cos this version before so i just bought the costume and wig from her. OR ELSE... it would have cost a bomb 0.0
i wanted to meet man jie at AFA but for some strange reason we couldn't meet up!! either she or me doesnt pick up each other's call. LOL. think we were too busy!!
Anyway, lucky that i met the REDMOON group *hearts*
However, before i show you the pictures, i am so proud to say that i saw KANAME☆ & Usagi and we even managed to talk!! If you read my blog, you would know that Kaname is my inspiration for cosplay and im a fan of him!!

Ok, this is what happened:

Ten Ten, Daphne, Pui Yee and i decided to go explore what's inside the hall (luckily they dragged me in too or else, i would definitely cry if they saw kaname and i didn't).
So the four of us were walking around the hall and we went towards the maid and butler cafe.
Okay la, side track a bit... i wanted to go see YUTAKI (http://yutakis.com/) at the butler cafe... AND I SAW HIM!!! *Cho kawaii/kakkoi* *faints* Seriously, if you see him, you automatically wanna go in and get served by him. Plus he keep poking his head out to look for customers! (okay... anyway... back to the story!)
So, suddenly someone (i am guessing AFA's organiser or something??) asked if the four of us wanted to join a competition or see KANAME or something...
I cannot remember the exact words because all that was processing in my mind was "SEE. KANAME!!!"
OK I WAS MAD EXCITED OKAY?!??!
(even as i am writing this... I am so excited remembering!!)
So we followed the person and THEN..... when i saw Kaname and usagi walked out from their cabin, i literally froze!!!! with my eyes going like this *0wO*!!!
Okay after for like 5 seconds or something, i composed myself and smiled nicely to go towards kaname and usagi. I couldn't believe how calm i was!! Normally, i would be shrieking in excitement and act all fangirl but i was quiet and composed!! *faint*
But now that i think about it, i guess it was good or else KANAME will probably think that im weird. Which btw... a lot of people tell me i am. OK!! it's unique ok!!
So anyhow, because tenten was cos-ing Perona from one piece, she has (ability) a negative ghost with her that supposedly turns anyone that it touches negative. For example: they will say that they are a worm or shouldn't exist.

AND THEN... KANAME SAMA touched the negative ghost and turned 'negative' for awhile by saying he was a worm! haha... love how candid he was! *hearts*
So we talked for awhile and they shared what they have cosplayed through a interpreter. It was such an awesome experience and we wrap everything up with a picture!
After that i got to shake his hand and i told myself that I COULD DIE HAPPY!!

I've loved that game since i was 14 and now im finally going to cosplay it cos daph and group is going cosplay it. This time i'll be using my real hair to cosplay it, so i gotta leave my fringe super long (bye bangs!) and probably have to cut my hair short or fake the bob. lol. Oh and have to dye my hair to dark brown (>▽<) Oh, and i'll probably need to work out because this girl can fight man! okay gonna work hard to achieve a more fighter yet sweet look. lol . . . . . . Because i was itching to cosplay since Cosfest (in June) but couldn't rush my costume in time. (& well, plus Kaname was going to be there! ) I planned to cosplay Serah Farron since March. she's a character who is cute and mature in her own way. SO, this AFA X, i finally did Serah (;  Serah farron from Final Fantasy 13. haix, whenever i see this pic, i will start to think "i need braces!!" i've been an airhead lately :/ blur sotong if you want to put it. but i prefer how my boyfriend says it "you're the highest grade of blur sotong because it's suppose be nicer". i was like "really?" and he gave me this look -.- Well, the reason why im saying im a sotong is because i almost forgot AFA X was coming. so the week before AFA X, i rushed all the small details like the wig, the bandage, the bracelet (which is done by miyuki, cos i dont have the time to do it), socks (my mom actually helped me on this) etc. i literally couldn't sleep well because i was worrying if i could rush everything off. which i kinda did. BUT the small details are still not exact. tsk. going to redo it before STGCC/EOY.  The bracelets that i did myself (got the beads from Esther)  styled and cut my wig (:  getting ready in full costume!  calling my team mates :D (side note: why does STGCC and EOY has to be on the same weekend? it's like literally telling us cosplayers to choose which event to go!) i did with my FF13 group this time and met the REDMOON group (famous for their naruto cosplays) - who had some members cos-ing characters from FF13 this time. i can't wait to do the photoshoot with them next year.  the first picture of the day!  in group poses!    this is me crossing over to FF13 VERSUS to get noctis sword and kill snow for being an idiot.  REDMOON group  redmoon -kakashi i had fun cosplaying with them (; and i think our SG cosplay standard is getting better yeah? :D what do you think? *points to pictures below*  tired after a full day of walking around in high heels/boots  pretty manjie as miku. btw, if you're reading this, let's cosplay together some time!     but... my objective to go AFA X was to see Kaname! He's a celebrity cosplayer from Japan. lol, i dont care if he's old (can you tell how old he actually is? you'll be shocked!) as long he's delicated to his cosplay, i respect him! (; BUT I DIDNT GET TO SEE HIM AT ALL (T.T) why? he was inside the hall for a big amount of time. & too many fans around him. haix :( and i cant believe that i actually saw him last year and i wasnt like gaga over his cosplay... i wasnt even a fan, didnt even know his cosplays then. i only saw him on stage and i was like "wow, not bad. nice costume" and then i walked away to the other booths in the hall. *slaps foreheads* haix, it's only this year when i started to know more about him from my friends and saw his delication to cosplay (and man, he's like extreme lah! he'll actually diet a female diet to do a feminine character-to lose his muscles & get nicer curves) then i decided that i liked his cosplay. and he's good at it!  Kaname as benten from zone 00. Super pretty right? even though this is a feminine GUY character.  this is Kaname and Aira (also from Japan). i prefer her to cosplay sheryl though!  Kaname and Aira are both judges at this yr's AFA.  Kaname is showing the guys what they shouldn't do when cosplaying. But well, he's still looks cute.  Kaname at the meet&greet session with fans. *slaps forehead harder* i cant believe i didn't know that there was this section in the itinerary!  Kaname and aira at the Maid's cafe inside the hall. surprisingly there is a butler cafe as well. and the queue was like super long!  aira-chan~ Im super envious that miyake and yoshimi got to take pic and go out with Kaname! haha, wonder if they know how to speak japanese to him though? (sorry, not really a fan of miyake and yoshimi - only got to know their blog because i was google-ing "kaname, AFA X" haha.  kaname and yoshimi! wa... ii na~  Kaname and miyake! クールな超かわいい ~  okay this pic is the best, hands down (·ώ·) BTW, here's Kaname profile page and blog (japanese) Disclaimer: picture(s) are credited to original photographer/cosplayer.
