Hada Labo Perfect Gel 3-in-1 Ultra Hydrating Gel (Sleeping Mask) Review

Hello!! Really wanted to share this review for quite some time now!

I have dry skin and my Aesthetician has recommended me to put on face masks every day or at least every 2 days. But... seriously... who is so hardworking to do this every other day?

But finally I found one product that matches my skin and gives me what I want - Hada Labo's Perfect Gel!
Pic credit to their facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/hadalabosg

The best thing about this is that it's a sleeping gel - one that does not need to be removed!! So you can just sleep and wake up with good skin! I tried this for about 3 months now and it works so well that I seldom see a zit popping out now! I am not even kidding... The first try and I could see how great this product works and was immediately sold!

What's more is that it's gel so it's is much better than a cream product. A Cream product can increase in the aging process! So be careful when you're shopping for a product!

I am able to wear one layer of powder foundation and a bit of concealer out now because it has greatly improved my skin condition!! Super love and highly recommended!

This was taken recently.

In just two months my face has already improved. With light eye makeup on and light powder foundation (concealer only under eye area).

I bought it at Watsons for SGD$35.90. It's really worth the amount. Used it for 3 months and only 1/5 is gone. Hope it works for you too (:

(P.S: I use it everyday at night. For those with normal or oily complexions, probably use it 2-5 times a week. Remember we would lose moisture for our skin everyday, so remember to hydrate yourself and use this product to replenish the lost moisture!)

[Review] Natural Aqua Gel Cure Review - No.1 in Japan posted at 12:07 AM

In case you do not know about this awesome product called Cure Natural Aqua Gel... You are living underneath a ROCK! It's so many people's rave and No.1 skincare product in Japan. It's a gel that exfoliates your skin gently.

& The amazing thing is that they don't even advertise! News spread via Word of Mouth.

So... I decided to try this product to see if it really works as what it claims to be.

So here is my review on the Natural Aqua Gel Cure.

I tried this product once a week to see how much my skin will improve and used it over a 2 month period.

[Tip: Exfoliate your skin at least once a week. Or all your expensive products that you apply on your skin will not work as well! This is because your skin has a layer of dead skin and will not be able to absorb all your products (i.e. toner, moisturizer)]

So basically this is what happens...

Skin before exfoliating. Tried to do the hand modeling thingy for nails advertisment. Obviously fail... *sigh* But anyway my skin looks nice and all but...

Let's see if there is any dirt/dead skin hidden

Rub gently on skin and it will slowly exfoliate... And the Great news is that they don't have the tradition exfoliating method that usually have beads in them which might harm your skin if you rub it too much!

And... Yes! all the dirt comes off! After this, just use water to wash it!

My skin looks refreshed and the best part? It feels like baby skin!! WOW!!

Yup im definitely happy with this Cure. It really does what it says to be!

So the verdict - Very gentle on skin and gives me baby skin texture! LOVE and recommended!

[Review] Heroine Make Lastin Mineral BB Cream Review posted at 11:19 AM

Yay I'm back on writing reviews again! This time it's another BB cream! Anyway, I decided to stop buying new products just so that I can write a review. Now.. I have too many products and yet... so little time to blog about all of them! Maybe I should start a giveaway? haha

Anyway I went to Heroine Make FB page and grabbed a sample. Here's the small pack that they sent me! (lol, I feel like im 'cheap skate MAX' haha)

Here's me with absolutely no make up, no moisturizer or anything.  You can see how my skin has some redness, pimples and dark circles T.T

Before I start my review, I do want to say I've lost hope in a lot of BB creams because their color didn't suit me or it turn out sticky or it wasn't long lasting. I think it probably because my skin is sensitive and dry that's why it always gives me a lot of trouble :(

Another Picture of my bad skin before I start :(

Review - Lasting Mineral BB Cream, Heroine Make

I read from RatzillaCosme that Lasting Mineral BB Cream is targeted for women in their 20s who have dry skin. That is one of the main reason why I wanted to try this. So I applied a thin layer of the BB cream over my skin and here's the result:

Even though, for the sake of the review I only applied a thin layer to see if it's really good or not... Wow... My pores are evidently smaller and overall it looks a lot smoother! Uneven Skin Tone gone as well!

Here's a closer look... Dark circles lightened and pimples covered :D Yay!! The best thing that I like about this is that it's enhances my skin colour and makes me look so nice! Also, It has SPF so it's good for S'pore's weather.

However, it did feel a bit sticky after application though. After letting it settling in for about 2 minutes, it wasn't as sticky so I put powder on and then it was prefect.

It stayed on while I went to an event, Jrunway Offical opening  (will blog this in 2-3 days!), and clearly it looked nice on pictures as well.  The Price of this should be around $21.90 and is available at Watsons.

Here's some pictures of the BB cream after the event. For this look, I applied a normal layer (instead of a thin one in the review) and I didn't need to use concealer (: Plus it stayed on pretty well (:

Btw.. I call this pose "cheat-and-make-smaller-face"pose. Haha.

After I removed my make-up, my skin didn't feel dry at all! That was probably the most impressive thing! Love it!

Here's the verdict:
Basic coverage      7/10
Long-Lasting       8.5/10
Brightens                9/10
After effects           9/10
 Price                      7.5/10
Overall               8.2/10

So would I buy it? Yes I will :D

UPDATE: I tried to get it at Watsons but it seems that it's not available yet. Will update once I find that it's available!

[Event] Za Total Hydration BB Cream Review and Launch! posted at 3:22 PM

Today I want to share with you this amazing product - ZA Total Hydration BB Cream!

Za Girls were very nice to invite me to the launch of it held at Sogurt! Thank you Za!!

They gave this very cute peach thingy (:

Za Total Hydration BB Cream has 12 benefits! My favorite out of the 12 is that it has SPF 43+++!!! Seriously, I have never found a BB cream at such a reasonable pricing and it has such a high SPF! Right now, it is selling at $15.90 in Singapore. Another thing that I adore is that it has a pinkish tone that makes you fairer!  The best thing is that you can get one BB cream to supposedly fit all skin shades.

Okay, so let's start reviewing Za Total Hydration BB Cream!

I always like to show you a picture in flash as the lighting tends to be more harsh and therefore you are able to see the foundation more clearly as well. (I am not wearing any concealer to let you see the foundation finish better [except under eye concealer])

It does what it promises, like being non-sticky, conceals pores and brightens up your skin. I thought the coverage was just nice as long you don't put too much.

I wore it out for quite a number of days and it feels fine and non-sticky on my skin. Once, I went to Sentosa (a very sunny place) and thought that this would be prefect because of the SPF. After a whole day of running around the beach and having fun, you could see that the bb cream did melt a bit but either than that it was holding very well.

So overall I would give this a  7.5/10
Long-lasting effect 7/10
Affordability 8.5/10
Coverage 7/10

More Pictures while wearing Za Total Hydration BB Cream
Btw here is marshmellow :D

So would you try this BB Cream? (:

[Event] ZA True White Plus Liquid Foundation Review + ZA Launch posted at 3:58 PM

Are you like me...? Finding a good foundation that last throughout the day and have a good finish? At the same time, it should have SPF and reasonably priced?

I have tried so many foundations and wants something that fits all my criteria! :(

So recently, I was very happy to be invited to a Za Preview Product Launch at Selfish Gene Cafe. I really liked the place. It was cosy and had that 'chillax' atmosphere that a cafe should have. keke.. shall drag daryl to that place one day!

i loved this wall!!

Beautiful setup by the Za girls (:

So I went to the cafe early because i didn't know where it was exactly, but still got lost! (TvT) ARGHHHH... can't read a map even if my life depends on it. LOL. So in the end i was late for the launch!

Once I reached there, I quickly settled down and ordered this chocolate cake!!

The Za girls were really very friendly and nice! Of course, the other 6 bloggers there were really bubbly and nice in real life too!! Anyway, the Za girls organized this mini-event for us to do! haha... it was....

Being a Barista!!!!!!! OKAY, perhaps... not really... seeing that i didn't do a very good job at it. haha

So Gene (the cafe owner) was the one who was going to teach us how to make designs for our drinks. haha.

He tried to teach us how to do a simple design!

The end product!! Looks difficult...? haha nope! it was actually quite easy. PLUS if i did any mistakes... i could always cover it up with Coco powder. :P

Yi Ying tries to do one herself too! Btw... doesn't she look like Kay Kay from this angle? haha

She did a simple design of a happy face!! kawaii desu sho?

So finally, it's my turn to try!! GUESS WHAT I DID?

TAMAGO (Egg)!! It looks like a fried egg right???

haha no la... that's not the end product yet!! This is!! nice? i think it looks like a flower (:

Anyway, the event was going to an end and all of us received nice gifts from Za!!

So here's the review of the items that i have received - Za True White Plus Liquid Foundation and Deep Cleansing Oil!

First to be reviewed is Za True White Plus Liquid Foundation! It's available in 6 colours (yellowish or pinkish tones are available!!)

It has SPF 25 PA++, Spotless brightening powder, Poreless powder and Vitamin C, E to help improve your skin!

I am using the foundation now (in 0C0W colour/lightest tone) and I love it! like SERIOUSLY!! Firstly, if you see in this picture, I am using flash which is usually quite harsh on the skin. But my skin still looks nice! What i want to say is... this foundation rocks! it provides enough coverage. And the good thing about it is that it can last for a whole day. I wore this foundation out on a sunny day and it still stayed on my face. I didn't need to touch up or do anything and it still looked perfect on me. (In fact this picture was taken after a long day and it still stayed!)

Secondly, i think the price is quite good being $23.50 (available exclusively in Watsons from 1 March onwards) and it brightens up my skins and take away all those ugly uneven skin tone that i have. And what's better is that it has SPF protection.

So my verdict? I like it - it's available in my skin tone, provides good coverage, makes my skin fairer, has SPF protection (v important to protect your skin in Singapore!), and reasonably priced :D Adding this to my makeup pouch!

Next to be reviewed is the Deep Cleansing Oil. You can use this to remove your makeup.

I opened it after i took the photos and used it. It comes out as a clear liquid. Once you spread it evenly on your face, wipe water over your face and it will become milky. Then just wash it away!

I was quite surprised that it didn't leave any oily residue or anything and my skin felt smooth after it.

hehe... I like this! easy to remove all my make up at one go (even my water proof makeup!) and it has Vitamin E to help to repair your skin!

The only con about this is that i had fake eyelashes on and my good eyelash glue refused to come off after one wash (which is quite normal). So i had to wash it a second time using cotton wool and it came off! So not bad at all, Za deep cleansing oil!

On a side note, i love the Za Models, especially Jun Hasegawa! Always love to see her walks and pictures on magazines!

I definitely will recommend the ZA True White Plus Liquid Foundation! Great buy!

P.S: A new blog post under this!
